Mrs. Althea Merle (Parks) Coughlan, wife of Donald J. Coughlan, passed away at Mount St. Joseph’s Nursing Home on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 58.
Born in Blackville, NB she was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Gaudie) Parks. She was a retired office manager for the Muscular Dystrophy Assocation and the University of Manitoba.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; daughter, Alisa Bracken (Ryan) of Barrie, Ontario; son, Craig Coughlan (Rachel Solomon) of Toronto, Ontario; sister, Beulah (Robert) Ross, of Edmonton, Alberta; brother, Bruce Parks (Tammy) of Oromocto, NB; sister-in-law, Linda (Parks) Bulock and 3 grandchildren, Anna, Ben and Luke.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Graham Parks.
Mrs. Althea Merle (Parks) Coughlan is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy., with visitation on Tuesday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 am at The Point Church with Reverend Kevin Matthews officiating. In her memory, donations to Mount St. Joseph’s Nursing Home or a memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
