Mr. Thomas J. Breau Sr., husband of Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Breau of Bartibog Bridge NB, passed away Thursday May 7, 2015 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 87. Born in Neguac NB, he was the son of the late Louis and Rosalie (Patrice) Breau. He was a retired Grounds Keeper of Miramichi Golf and County Club and a member of St Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bartibog. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Besides his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by nine sons; Leonard (Marion) of Miramichi, Onesime (Cindy) of Bartibog, Livian (Sharon) of Oak Point, Reginald (Shirley) of Oak Point, Lionel (Caroline) of Calgary, Thomas Jr. (Dawn) of Russellville, Yvon (Colleen) of Bartibog, Roger (Murielle) of Miramichi and Robert of Calgary, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Christine, four sisters, Angela LeBlanc, Lousia Comeau, Rosalie St. Coeur and Victoria Savoie, three brothers, Raymond, Pierre and Antoine Breau.
Mr. Thomas J. Breau Sr. is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday May 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at St. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, with Father Brian Witmore and Father Leon Creamer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
