The death of Jean Loretta Dunnett of Curtis Road, Miramichi, NB, widow of Mervin Dunnett occurred at her residence on Monday, November 3, 2014 at the age of 92. Born in Cassilis, NB, Jean was the daughter of the late Forrester and Ida (Mullin) MacTavish.
Jean is survived by two daughters: Joy Moore (Harold) of Chatham Head, NB and Lois Parker (Cyril) of Nordin, NB; four sons: Billie (Frances) of South Esk, NB, Sonny of Lower Derby, NB, Harry of Alberta and Dwayne of Miramichi, NB; one sister: Irene Johnston of Sunny Corner, NB; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Jean is predeceased by one daughter: Joan; two sons: Byron and Mervin Jr.-Moanie and one brother: John MacTavish.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Thursday @ 1 PM with Pastor Wilbur Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the Boom Road Presbyterian Cemetery.
In Jean’s memory a donation may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
