The death of Arnold Gilmore Shaddick of Trout Brook, NB, husband of Kathleen (Allison) Shaddick of Lower Derby, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Trout Brook, NB, Arnold was the son of the late Joseph & Ethel Shaddick.Arnold was a self employed truck driver.Arnold is survived by three daughters: Ethel Freer (Stephen) of Allegany, NY, Elsie Barrett (Bob) of Charlottetown, PE and Cindy Taylor (Bob) of Lower Derby, NB; one son: Dwight (Janice) of Fredericton, NB; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Arnold was the last surviving member of his immediate family, predeceased by six sisters: Irene, Olive, Rose, Evelyn, Jen and Helen and two brothers: Walter and Earl.At Arnold’s request there will no visitation. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held.Burial will take place in the Wesley United Church Cemetery, Trout Brook, NB.In Arnold’s memory a donation may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB: Telephone 622-3600
