Dedicated father to Christopher Schofield (Cheryl) of Burnaby, BC, Bentley Schofield of Otokos, AB and Nadine Labelle (Etienne) of Massey, ON. Treasured Papa to Jacob, Teyah, Ethan, Evan, Alyssa and Lyric. Honourary father to Sue (Tom) Prince and Papa Guy to Jillian, Neebin, Clara-Lee and Shirley. Born to James Emile Schofield (Newton) and Marie Jessie Therese Schofield (D’amour) in Chatham, New Brunswick. Brother to Lucienne Theriault “Lucy”, Louis Schofield (Lise Bergevin), Paul Schofield (Carolyn Warman), Antoine “Tony” Schofield (predeceased), Ernest “Ernie” Schofield (Maria Mazerolle), Martin Schofield (Elena Rodriguez Ortega), Patrick “Pat” Schofield (Sandra MacDonald), Peter Schofield (Mary Guyader), Mary Young (Francis), Julie Thibodeau (Gary) and Albert Schofield (Maureen (Weninger).Guy grew up on the Mirimichi, married his best friend and traveled coast-to-coast making friends and family everywhere they went. His heart was as big as his laugh which filled a room with his warm and loving presence. His generosity stretched far and wide and he would never leave anyone lacking what they needed. He gave wonderful hugs and made the best baked scone. He was a committed volunteer and palliative care worker. He worked many jobs throughout his life but his true passion was his connection with the people in his life.
