The death of Edna Caroline (Ahern) Lynch wife of David Lynch of Miramichi, NB, occurred at her residence on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the age of 61. Born in Newcastle, NB, Edna was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Gallant) Ahern.Edna was employed with Region 7 Hospital as a Ward Clerk.Edna is survived by one daughter: Lindsay Ahern (Eric Small) of Fredericton, NB, three sons: Dale (Michelle Marquis), David Jr. and Jason (Joni) all of Miramichi, NB; four sisters: Clara Richard of Gatineau, PQ, Nancy Nowlan (Donnie) of Chatham, NB Irene McLaren of Ottawa, ON and Linda Regan (Terry) of Nowlanville, NB ; five brothers: Leonard (Helen ) of Otter Lake, PQ, Brian (Doreen) of Nowlanville, NB, Ronnie of Chelmsford, NB, John (Gail) and Mike (Tracey) all of Vancouver, BC; 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Edna is predeceased by one brother: Warren and infant brother: John Louis. Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11 AM with Father Jim McQuade officiating. Burial will take place in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.In Edna’s memory a donation may be made to St. Patrick’s Memorial Fund or to the NB Extra Mural Program.Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB; Telephone 622-3600
