Mrs. Ila Pearl (Somers) Tozer, wife of Hixon Tozer of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, formerly of Elizabeth Street, Miramichi, passed away Monday August 10, 2015 at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, at the age of 91.Born in Newcastle NB, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ethel (Dobson) Somers. She was a retired book keeper for T. Eaton Company and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.Besides her husband Hixon, she is survived by one daughter; Joy Rozelle (David) of Atlanta Georgia, two sons; Darel (Willa Mae) of Miramichi and Sheldon (Amy) of East Winthrop Maine, six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers; Kenneth and Clifford.Mrs. Ila Pearl Tozer is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Thursday August 13, 2015 from 6-8. The Funeral Service will be held Friday at 4 p.m./ at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Weaver Amos officiating.
