Frank Albert Walsh, husband of Ethel (Berteit) for 64 years, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Perley and Julia Walsh. He retired in 1988 from the Provincial Hospital in Campbellton, after 29 years of service. He has enjoyed many years of Scrabble, cribbage, bowling and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1310. Frank loved his family dearly and is survived by nine children: Darlene (Dave) Fraser, Jocelyn (late Michael) O’Reilly, Sister Maureen Walsh, Alan, Paul (late Sherran Craswell) David (Rose), Dee Dee (Wayne) Francis, Dale and Kristi (Bruce King). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Cheryl, Scott, Colin, Mark, Samantha, Desiree, Sarah, Jane, Catherine, Alexander, Victoria and Dylan; two great-grandchildren: Quinn and Elizabeth; his sister Delia Hubbard of Miramichi and many nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, Frank was predeceased by four brothers: Joseph, Patrick, Johnny and Sandy; two sisters, Elsie and Loretta. He rested at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 3 to 5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11AM with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Reading by Darlene Fraser (daughter) and with Prayers of the Faithful by Jack Walsh (nephew) Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
