Ernestine (Durelle) Manuel, age 67, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 12, 2014 with her family by her side.
Born in Baie Ste-Anne, on July 2, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Ida (Martin) Durelle.The proud wife of the late Adrien Manuel, she was a homemaker, a retired fisherman and a former volunteer Ambulance Attendant. She was an avid bingo player and also enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by her daughters Ghislaine Martin (Magloire), Brenda Manuel of Baie Ste-Anne, Jeannette Manuel-Allain (Chris) of Miramichi; seven grandchildren, Adrien Martin, Nadia Martin, Jessica Boudreau, Vanessa Boudreau, Rebecca Cyr, Jonah Allain, Hannah Allain; one great grandson, Luc Martin; three sisters, Alida McIntyre (Alfred), Dora Durelle (Fernand) of Baie Ste-Anne and Corinne Graham (Charles) of Mississippi; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and her parents; one brother, Lucien Durelle; one daughter, Neomise Ida and one granddaughter, Jennifer Martin.
