ALDERICK RICHARDSON, born 31 Dec 1940 passed away 29 Aug 2015 at Miramichi Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness, he was 74 years old.
The son of Frederick Richardson and Clothilde Comeau was born in Tracadie NB. Prior to his death Alderick resided in Lavilette NB under the care of his nephew Rejean Richardson and Cindy.
Predeceased by his parents, five older brothers and two sisters, Alderick will be sadly missed by five sisters: Lea(Leo), Imelda, Marie Alphonsina, Aurea(Paul), and Irene; two brothers Lucien(Jeanne D’Arc), Gerald(Amanda), his half-brother Jean Claude Richardson, sister-in-law Aldora, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He will be especially missed by his nephew Rejean and great-nephew Jason(Tracey & Myah) as well as his extended family members and friends in the Lavilette area.
Alderick, a hard worker who loved and worked in the forest all his life, was known as a woodsman of many skills and was always revered by his fellow woodsmen and family for his expertise in handling his chainsaw.
Resting at Salon Robichaud, Neguac, visiting hours were held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday 3 September and again from noon to 1:15 p.m. Friday 4 September.
Service to be held at Saint-Dominique Savio Church, Lavilette Friday 4 September at 2 p.m. with internment to follow at Saint Georges Church Cemetery in Covedell, NB.
