Lucien Joseph Goguen 1930-2015Lucien Joseph Goguen, husband of the late Bertha (Martin) Goguen, of Rosaireville NB, formerly of Chatham Head, NB who passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at the age of 85.Born in Chatham Head, NB, he was the son of the late Edmund and Henrietta (Richard) Goguen. Lucien was retired from Birchill’s Plywood Mill. Lucien is survived by one daughter, Eloina Morais (Louis) of Rosaireville, NB; one sister, Loretta Goguen of Chatham Head, NB; four brothers, Roy Goguen (Judy) of Nelson-Miramichi, Everett Goguen (Lillian) of Nelson-Miramichi, Manuel Goguen of Chatham Head, and Fidele Goguen of Chatham Head; one step-grandchild, Michel and several nieces and nephews.Besides his wife Bertha, Lucien is predeceased by one daughter, Mary; two sisters, Mary and Alma; four brothers; Anthony, Emile, Leo and Joseph. At Lucien’s request, there will be no visitation. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Chatham Head on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 at 11 AM with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Nelson-Miramichi. In Lucien’s memory, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA.
