James Alexander Carroll King, husband of Joan N. King, of McHardy Road, Miramichi, passed away at his residence early Tuesday morning, September 8, 2015 at the age of 82, following a brief illness.
Born in Englehart, Tamiskamine, Ontario, on July 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Jack and Florence (Deering) King. He was a retired member of the Dept. of National Defense (R.C.A.F.), employed as an Electronics Instructor. Following his retirement from D.N.D. he was employed with Honeywell Bull Ltd. His hobbies included woodworking as well as a ham radio operator.
He is survived by his wife, Joan N. King; three daughters, Joanna King, of Miramichi, Jennifer Belanger (Gerry), of Happy Valley, Goose Bay, Lab. and Jessica King, of Kalona, B.C.; five grandchildren, Chantel, Jacques, Dominique, Michael, Savanah; six great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Harrison, of Courtney, B.C.; one brother, George King, of Iowa, USA.
By his request there will be no visiting at the funeral home nor any funeral service at this time. The family will hold a private service at a later time.
