Miramichi – Neva Jean Isabelle Levere, of Princess St., Miramichi, passed away at her residence on Monday evening, September 21, 2015, at the age of 85. Born in Hardwicke, N.B., on December 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Aileen (MacLeod) Gregan. She was a homemaker; a long serving receptionist and secretary with Dr. C.A. Hayward; a member of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi. She is survived by one son, Douglas Leverre (Sivonan), of Whitby, Ont.; one step daughter, Angela Button (Tracy), of Southhampton, Ont.; one step son, James Flieger (Laurelle), of Scaraborough, Ont; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Odey H. Levere; her second husband, L. Maxwell Flieger; one daughter, Marilyn Perkins; one son, Bruce Levere; one sister, Emma Belton; one brother, Ian Gregan. By request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The public are invited to attend a memorial service to be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Miramichi. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
