Mrs. Mary Germaine Smith wife of the Reginald Smith of Lower Newcastle passed away Sunday September 20, 2015 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 83. Born in Saumarez NB, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Leontine (Doiron) Kelly. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.She is survived by three daughters; Linda LeGresley (Clarence) of Edmonton AB, Patti Heath (Roy) of Red Deer AB and Kelly Smith (Eric) of Lansing Michigan, five sons; Harold (Chris) of Kelowna BC, Robert (Paula) of Miramichi, James (Cathy) of Calgary, Albert (Rohini) of Brooks AB and Mark (Angela) of Miramichi, three sisters; Irma McNamara (James), Bertha Brideau (Late Gilbert) and Theresa Holmes (Late Israel), two brothers; Roger and Clarence and 9 grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by one brother Edgar and one sister Mabel.Mrs. Mary Germaine Smith is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Monday September 28, from 2-4 & 7-9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bartibog with Father Brian Wetmore officiating.
