Mr. Jack MacKnight, husband of Maureen MacKnight, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the age of 85.Born in Oak Point, NB, he was the son of the late Albert and Helen (Dutcher) MacKnight. He was a Construction worker and a fisherman. He also was a member of the Presbyterian Church.Besides his wife Maureen he is survived by three daughters Debbie MacKnight-Trailin of Calgary, AB; Lisa Byrne of Saint John, NB and Tracey Murphy of Toronto, Ontario; three grandchildren Kristen Byrne, Matthew Byrne and Bella Murphy.Mr. John Howard MacKnight is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will held Monday at 2 pm at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charlene Macquire-McKnight officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
