Ada Alice Eliza (MacKnight) Savoy, wife of the late Cecil Savoy of Tabusintac Nursing Home, formerly of Burnt Church NB, passed away Friday October 23, 2015 at Tabusintac Nursing Home, at the age of 95.Born in New Jersey NB, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Minerva (Murray) MacKnight. She was a homemaker, a member of St. David’s United Church, Burnt Church, former member of UCW & Women’s Institute, and also a member of Burnt Church/New Jersey Seniors Group.She is survived by two sisters; Elsie Hanson (Robert) of Windsor ON and Lois McIntosh (John) of Stratford ON, also several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by one sister; Rita Palmer (Len) and one brother; Keith MacKnight (Lorraine).Ada Alice Eliza (MacKnight) Savoy is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Blacquiere officiating.
