Joseph Lloyd Richard, 73, of St Andrew’s Street Miramichi, passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.Born in Miramichi, NB the son of the late Fred Jr. & Louise (Cunningham) Richard. Known by everyone as Buddy, retired from NB Power as a lineman, he loved spending time at the camp and fishing with his best friend Sonny. He loved playing a good game of cards with his family and the friends at the hall. He was a great father and loving husband who will be missed by all who knew him.Buddy is survived by his loving wife Linda (Myles) Richard who recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Daughters: Melissa (Rene) and Pam.Sons: David (Janice) and Freddy.Granddaughters: Erika and Audrey and Grandsons: Calvin and Devin. Sisters: Joan (Denis), Theresa (Glen), Margaret-Ann (Nick).Brothers: Donnie (Colleen), Art (Dawn), Joey (Angel) and Norm and many nieces and nephews. At Buddy’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday November 21, 2015 at 1pm from St Michael’s Cemetery with Fr John Beaumaster officiating.
