Winnifred Kelly1928-2015Winnifred Kelly, wife of the late John H. Kelly of Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, formerly of Derby, NB, passed away on Saturday, November 21st at her residence at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Simms) Field. Winnifred was a homemaker, member of the Derby United Church and a member of the U.C.W. Winnifred is survived by four daughters: Maureen (Peter) Anderson of Lincoln, NB, Deborah (Alvin) Hallihan of Ontario, Sandra (Herbie) Bryenton of Derby, NB and Denise (Joe) Whalen of Renous, NB; three sons: Victor (Linda) Kelly of Fredericton, NB, John (Bernice) Kelly of Fredericton, NB and Jason Kelly of Derby, NB; one brother: Roy Field of England; four grandchildren: Ryan (Lisa), Jessica, Kevin (Becky) and Joseph; nine great-grandchildren: Brody, Bryce, Kassy, Kyara, Morgan, Kelsey, Alexis, Jack, Jaida and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Winnifred is predeceased by her husband, John H. Kelly; one grandson: Ronald; five sisters: Sylvia May, Audrey Field, Olive Cook, Dorothy Mills and Primrose Field; one brother: John Field. Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB on Thursday, November 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.The funeral service will be held at the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel, 651 King George Highway on Friday at 1 P.M. with Wendell Gregan officiating. Burial will take place at the Derby United Church Cemetery, Derby, NB. In Winnifred’s memory, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Derby United Church Cemetery or Mt.
