Mr. Handley Joseph Morrison, husband of the late Maudie (McMahon) Morrison passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at Miramichi Senior Citizens home Veterans Wing (Formally of Chatham Head) at the age of 93.Born in Portage River N.B, he was the son of the late Edward and Lucy (Rousell) Morrison. He was retired from Modern Pastry Bakery and he was well known for his hobbies of Oil Paintings along with his musical interest of the mouth organ and playing the fiddle. He was a member of The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church Chatham Head N.B.He is survived by two daughters Patsy Conroy (Joseph) of Miramichi, June O’Brian (John) of Pictou County N.B, Four sons Robert (Kay), Allan (Karen), Ken (Debbie) and Walter Morrison all of Miramichi,1 brother Larry Morrison, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one infant daughter Elizabeth, one infant son Leo, five sisters Viola, Irene, Annie, Elizabeth and Mary Mabel, two Brothers Edward and Albert Morrison.Mr. Handley Joseph Morrison is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 11 am at The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Father Paul Leblanc Officiating.
