Mary Ann McKendy, age 97, has passed away on November 24, 2015 at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home in Miramichi, NB.
Ann was life-long resident of Chatham (Miramichi) NB. A faithful parishioner of St. Michael’s Basilica, Ann was dedicated to a life of faith and charity in her community.
She was employee of the Bank of Montreal, serving in the Chatham Branch for forty two years.
Never married, Ann dedicated herself to her work, to the service of her numerous cousins, friends, and relatives, to her parish, and to untold secret charitable endeavors.
Ann McKendy is resting at Maher’s Funeral Home Miramichi, on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Michael’s Basilica on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr John Beaumaster officiating. Interment will be in St Michael’s Cemetery. As a expression of sympathy a donation to the memorial of one’s choice would be appreciated.
