Anna Catherine (Grant) Innes, wife of the late Allan Innes, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2015, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 93.Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Wallace) Grant. She was a homemaker and a member of St Peters & Paul Roman Catholic Church.She will be sadly missed by her daughter Maureen (David Matchett) of Lower Newcastle; two sons George (Margaret) of Lower Newcastle, and Ronnie (Jane) of Miramichi; six grandchildren Cathy Brideau (Andy), Allan Innes (Sarah), Jamie Innes (Sylvie), Lori Ann Labulois (Jim), Melissa Matchtt (Jessie Tucker), and Jeffrey Matchett (Liane Rideout); and several nieces and nephews.Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers Charlie, Lorne, Bernard, and Earl, and one sister Mary.The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 11 am, from St Peters & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Bartibog, with Father Creamer officiating.As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St Peters & Paul Memorial Fund, or to a memorial of one’s choice.Funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St, telephone (506) 622-7741
