Eleanor Lee Lockerbie, wife of Glendon D. Lockerbie of Ferry Road, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, October 20, 2014, at the age of 62.
Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of Cecil P. and the late Florence (Vautour) Preston. She was a homemaker and former employee of Zellers Ltd. As well as Mauries Catering Service. She was Roman Catholic by Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Glendon; her father, Cecil P. Preston, of Miramichi; one daughter, Kelly Lockerbie (Scott), of Moncton; one son, Michael Lockerbie (Melanie), of Miramichi; nine sisters, Pat Mullin, Bonnie Brophy (John), Carmel Fiander (Paul), Wendy McLenaghan (Ronnie), Carolyn Harper (John), Lois Preston, Dawn Preston, Cheryl Bell (David), Pam Preston; two brothers, Bruce Preston and Carl Preston (Shelly); five grandchildren, Caitlinn, Matthew, Cassie, Jesse, Ellie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Florence and one brother, Harry Preston.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 11 am, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi.
