Miramichi – Brian David Hicks, of Coverdale Road, Riverview, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Friday, April 24, 2015, at the age of 42.
Born in Amherst, N.S. , he was the son of David and Brenda Hicks. He was a student and a former employee of McGinnis Landing restaurant, Moncton.
He is survived by his parents, David and Brenda (Estabrooks) Hicks, of Miramichi; one sister, Charlene Geldart (Stacy), of Riverview; his paternal grandmother, Edith Hicks, of Miramichi; aunts and uncles, Robert and Margaret Hicks, Deborah and Victor Sears, Robert and Gladys Estabrooks, Clarence and Karen Estabrooks, all of Sackville; as well as several cousins.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Tuesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi, later in the spring.
