The death of Joseph Emmerson Mitchell of Bangor, Maine and formerly of Burnt Church, NB occurred at the Eastern Main Medical Center on July 29, 2015 at the age of 65. Born in Burnt Church, NB. Emerson was the son of the late Noel & Mary Sarah (Metallic) Mitchell.Emmerson is survived by one daughter Paula; sisters: Emily Johnson (Late Willis Johnson) of Burnt Church NB, Linda Mitchell (William Carruthers) of Miramichi, NB, Debrah Simon (Maynard) of Big Cove, NB, Pauline Mitchell of USA; Brothers: Joseph (Shirley Saunders) of Brantford, ON, Clayton Isaac of Restigouche, QB and Jerry of Boston, Mass; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, one uncle and cousins. Predeceased by one brother: Albert (1995)Visitation will be held at his sister’s residence Emily Mitchell, 14Condo Court, Burnt Church on Monday at 12 Noon until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated from St. Ann Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 @ 2 PM with Father Brian Wetmore officiating.
