Miramichi – Neil Stanley Kenneth MacPherson, husband of the late Margaret (Moore) MacPherson, of Lobban Ave., Miramichi, passed away at his residence on Friday evening, September 11, 2015, at the age of 88.
Born in Sydney, N.S., on May 10, 1927, he was the son of the late Edmond and Katherine (MacDonald) MacPherson. He was a self-employed businessman; was an adherent of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi; a member of the Chatham Rotary Club.
He is survived by his companion, Debbie Saunders; three sons, Bryan K. MacPherson, Brent G. MacPherson (Victor) and Bradley R. MacPherson (Beth); nine grandchildren; one brother, Raymond MacPherson, of Halifax, N.S. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret Moore; one sister, Jeanette Steele.
By his request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. The family will hold a private service at a later time. Interment will be in Forrest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney, N.S.
