Mr. Paul Garfield Mills, husband of Nan Mills of Oldfield Road Miramichi passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday September 14, 2015 at the age of 74.Born in Hardwick, NB, he was the son of the late William and Agnes (Potter) Mills. He was a retired electrician at Health Steel mines and a former president of the Steel Workers Union and also a member of the Anglican Church.Besides his wife Nan, he is survived by 1 daughter Sharon Warren (Darrell) of Grey Rapids; 1 son Garth (Natalie) of Miramichi; 2 sisters Jean Fitzpatrick of Miramichi, Margaret Poley of London Ontario; 1 brother Dan of Miramichi and grandson Paul Sutherland Jr.He was pre-deceased by his parents; 5 brothers George, Harold, Guy, John and Glenn, 5 sisters Nina Flam, Della MacLean, Joan Gallant, Wilma Barter and infant Althea.At the request of the family there will be no visitation. The Funeral service will be held Friday September 18, 2015 at 11am at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael O’Hara officiating. Burial will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Hardwick.
