Mr. Hermann Joseph Joachim Schaefer husband of Hildegard Schaefer of Wishart Point Road, Tabusintac passed away Monday evening September 21, 2015 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 84.Born in Bislich West Germany, he was the son of the late Hans and Helene (Vortmann) Schaefer. He was a farmer and a member of St Andrew’s United Church, Tabusintac.Besides his wife Hildegard, he is survived by three daughters; Helen Stevens (Johan) of Cornwall ON, Birgit Schaefer (Stanley Basque) of Tabusintac and Nicole Schaefer Berger (Stephan) of Casselman ON, two son; Urban (Karen) of Tabusintac and Benno (Linda) of Tabusintac, 12 grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.Mr. Hermann Joseph Joachim Schaefer is resting at St. Andrew’s United Church, Tabusintac, with visitation on Thursday September 24, from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Friday September 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church, Tabusintac, with Reverend Gerald Blacquiere officiating.
