The death of Wayne Benedict Vautour, husband of Mary (Thomson) Vautour, of Miramichi, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of 67. Born in Douglastown, NB, he was the son of the late Benedict and Irene (Miller) Vautour. Wayne was a retired longshoreman, loved being around his family, also he loved to sing and play the guitar.Wayne is survived by two daughters: Mary (Wayne) Moran of Miramichi, NB and Tammy (Andrew) Bell of Shediac, NB; one son: Kevin Vautour of Fort McMurray, AB; six sisters: Donna (Jack) O’Donnell, Brenda (Bruce) Hannah, Sharon (Brian) MacDonald, Lynn (Steve) Kingston ,Wendy (John) Carroll all of Miramichi, NB and Vicki Vautour (Amon Savoie) Vautour of Cocagne, NB; two brothers: Eddie (Ellen Jardine)of Renous, NB and Paddy (Bonnie) Vautour of Miramichi, NB; seven grandchildren: Andrea, Justin &, Amanda Moran; Joshua & Breanna Bell and Koburn & Kohen Prince-Vautour and several nieces and nephews. Wayne is predeceased by his parents and one brother: Gary.Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB on Wednesday, October 14th from 7-9 PM and on Thursday, October 15th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Samuels Roman Catholic Church, Douglastown, NB on Friday, October 16th at 10 AM with Father Maurice Swift officiating. Burial will follow in St. Samuels Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi 2-3600Miramichi, N.B., E1V 1N9.
